“We are very much looking forward to the imminent opening of ‘Projekt 4’, because in our own developments ecological sustainability also has a top priority, alongside maximum customer benefit. In the showcased e-apartments and e-office of the future, visitors will be able to see for themselves the beneficial effects that the intelligent technologies of Sharp and others will have on our future living and working conditions, whilst also contributing to the protection of our environment,” comments Maximilian Huber, Managing Director of Sharp Electronics Europe.
Products from the fields of consumer electronics, professional displays, digital printing systems, air purifiers and the photovoltaic sector are used in this 2,600 square metre building. Entertainment in the “e-apartments” is provided by AQUOS LCD TVs of the LE925E and LE830E series. These TVs, with their energy-saving technologies such as intelligent LED backlighting and Quattron four-colour system, are ideally suited to the energy efficiency concept of “Projekt 4”. Multifunction printing systems from Sharp provide productive and environment-conscious document management in the “e-office of the future”. Two 60-inch touchscreens that ensure efficient, convenient and creative interworking in the building with their intuitive user interface can also be used to control the building automation if required. In the showroom, a video wall consisting of a grid of three by three PN-V601 LC displays, which are networked with all the other displays in the building, provides visitors with the latest information. A photovoltaic system installed on the building’s carport delivers clean energy for the electric vehicle parked ready for use.
